New Chrono Ma:gia Manga Ends

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Chrono Ma:gia: Mugen no Haguruma launched in October

This year's 39th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine revealed on August 28 that Takeshi Azuma, Homura Kawamoto, and Hikaru Muno's Chrono Ma:gia: Mugen no Haguruma (Infinite Gears) manga will end in the next issue on Wednesday.

The new manga adaptation of GungHo Online Entertainment's digital card game Chrono Ma:gia launched in October 2018. The third compiled book volume shipped on July 18, and the fourth will ship on October 18. Azuma (Denpa Kyōshi - He Is a Ultimate Teacher) is drawing the manga, and Kawamoto (story for Kakegurui manga) and Muno (Kakegurui Trip novelist) are credited with the story and original work.

Fujiko Dosei's Chrono Ma:gia -Toki no Shōkansha to Shiraha no Hanayome manga (pictured right) launched in Weekly Shonen Sunday in April 2018, and Shogakukan confirmed in September that the manga had ended in June due to Dosei's poor health. The manga's one compiled volume shipped in September 2018.

GungHo Online Entertainment launched the game in English and Japanese in April 2018. The company describes the game's story:

The Timesea: A realm ruled by the divine rulers of time... Set in Chronocardia, a pocket world floating on the Timesea, our tale chronicles the struggle between those Gifted with the power of the Magia...

The game's official YouTube channel previously streamed an anime promotional video for the game in February 2018.
