Sengoku Basara: Battle Party Game's Video Highlights Characters, Mechanics

The official website for Sengoku Basara: Battle Party, the first smartphone game in CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara franchise, began streaming a promotional video on Thursday. The video introduces the game's mechanics and characters, and introduces a new character named Izumo no Okuni (voiced by Inori Minase) who will be the player's guide.
The game will launch on iOS and Android devices in Japan in June. The game allows players to collect characters from the franchise, train them, and form teams for battles.
CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara franchise inspired several television anime series, one anime movie, a live-action series with two compilation films, and several stage plays. A television anime adaptation of Gakuen Basara, a high school spinoff project based on the game franchise, premiered last October.
