Crunchyroll Adds Wacky TV Na na na 2nd season Anime

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it has added the Wacky TV Na na na 2nd season (TV Yarō Nana-na - Wakuwaku Dōkutsu Land) series of CG anime shorts to its spring simulcast lineup. The first episode is available worldwide except in Asia and the Middle East. Crunchyroll also plans to add the first season, TV Yarō Nana-na, soon.
Crunchyroll describes the story of the second season:
TV Na Na Na, a dirt-poor television network, is bought out by the major streaming service Nanazon Prime Video... and the bigwigs of Nanazon waste no time laying off staff on a massive scale! The first ones they target are the Expedition Team, whose members succeeded in filming the legendary beast Kiina, because they haven't produced any hit programs since the Kiina story. So to avoid being laid off, the director Nanaoka, cameraman Nana Mori, and assistant director Nanayama kick off an ambitious new program idea that major networks had sunk small fortunes into before and failed: to discover the buried treasure of the Banakawa House and broadcast it on TV.
TV Tokyo also announced additional cast members for the second season on Thursday. The newly announced guest cast members are:

- Kōji Ishizaka as Kōji Nanasaka
- Miyuki Imori as Shichiko
- Tatsumi Fujinami as himself (name spelling slightly altered)
- Tetta Sugimoto as narrator
- Tesshō Genda as Nanakuchi
- Ryūsei Nakao as Demon
- Shōto Kashii as Nanazon executive
- Natsuki Hanae as Banagawa Tsunayoshi
Genda is reprising his role from the first season. The main cast members returning from the first season include Bibiru Ōki as Nanaoka, Shiro Tsubuyaki as Nanayama, and Yōichi Nukumizu as Nana Mori Most of the characters have names that incorporate Japanese words for "seven."
The anime's second season premiered on TV Tokyo and AT-X on Thursday. Satoshi Fumihara (The The World of GOLDEN EGGS) is again writing the script and directing the series at Studio Crocodile. 33 Collective is credited with production cooperation.
The first 24-episode season of shorts debuted in April 2018.
