Yowamushi Pedal Manga Inspires 13th Stage Play in May

Marvelous' official website for the stage play adaptations of Wataru Watanabe's Yowamushi Pedal manga announced on Thursday that the manga is inspiring a 13th stage play that will premiere in May 2019. The new stage play is titled Yowamushi Pedal: Shin Interhigh-hen: Limit Breaker (New Interhigh Arc: Limit Breaker).
New cast members in the play include:
- Taishu Nukanobu as Sakamichi Onoda
- Daichi Abe as Nobuyuki Mizuda
- Rui Yanagawa as Yūsuke Makishima
- Yusuke Akiba as Shinpachi Tōdō
The play will otherwise feature a returning cast for other characters. The play will run at the Theater 1010 in Tokyo from May 10-19, and at the Namikiri Hall in Osaka on May 25-26.
The 12th stage play, titled Butai Yowamushi Pedal Shin Interhigh-hen ~Hakone Gakuen Ōja Fukukaku (The Kingdom)~ (Stage Yowamushi Pedal New Interhigh Arc: Restoration of Hakone Gakuen's King [The Kingdom]), ran from March 2-11 in Tokyo at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and from March 16-18 in Kobe at the Shin Kobe Oriental Theater. Shatner Nishida again directed and wrote the play, and manzo composed the music.
