Directive Games Develops Galaga AR Game for iOS

Game will be part of "AR Arcade Series" of games using augmented reality
Directive Games revealed during the Apple Special Event on Wednesday that it is developing Galaga AR, an augmented reality version of the 1981 arcade game Galaga. The game will be part of Directive Games' "AR Arcade Series," and will be available for iOS devices. Directive Games did not reveal a release date.
Namco's Galaga is a classic alien defense game where players fly a ship and take on descending waves of invaders.
The Nuttery Entertainment announced that it is developing an animated series based on the game titled Galaga Chronicles. The show is planned for a 12-episode first season, and is planned to debut in late 2019 or early 2020.
