Funimation, Toei Reschedule Streaming of Dubbed Dragon Ball Super Episodes

posted on by Karen Ressler

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Wednesday that, as per an update from Toei Animation, it will now stream each 13-episode batch of English-dubbed Dragon Ball Super episodes "a few weeks before" their home video release.

Funimation began streaming 39 dubbed episodes in December, and announced at the time that subsequent 13-episode batches would stream two weeks after the final episode of the batch aired on Toonami. The company currently has 52 dubbed episodes available streaming and, as June 19, on home video.

By the previous schedule, episodes 53-65 should have been available on June 16. By the new schedule, they should debut a few weeks before the fifth home video release ships in October.

New dubbed episodes of Dragon Ball Super are still airing on Adult Swim's Toonami block at 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Reruns air on weekday evenings.

Adult Swim's website offers recent episodes streaming to those with cable service providers.
