Maaya Uchida, Kōtarō Nishiyama star in romantic comedy

This year's 27th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine revealed on Monday that the anime adaptation of Etsuko Mizusawa's Moshi Moshi, Terumi desu. (Hello, this is Terumi.) manga will premiere in Production I.G's newly rebranded Anime Beans app on June 8.

The manga will star Maaya Uchida as Terumi-san and Kōtarō Nishiyama as Rintarō.

Mizusawa launched the full-color manga in March 2016, and ended the series in February. Shogakukan will publish the second and final volume on June 12.

The "telephone romantic comedy" follows a girl named Terumi, who works for a telephone company that has an anti-internet policy, and a middle school boy named Rintarō who is in love with her.

Mizusawa also provided the art for Masayuki Kusumi's Hana no Zubora-Meshi manga, which inspired a drama with anime segments in 2012.

The new Anime Beans app launched at the end of May, and offers popular television anime as well as vertical anime, which the Tate Anime app exclusively offered. Tate Anime ended service on May 31.

Production I.G launched the Tate Anime app in June 2017. The app offered short (about three-minute) anime that updated on weekdays, and each series has 10 episodes. The anime are presented vertically for smartphones. The app was aimed at people who do not have time to watch television or do not own a television.
