Metal Max Xeno PS4/Vita Game Gets Western, Asian Releases

Kadokawa Games announced on Monday that it will release its Metal Max Xeno PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game outside of Japan in Asia and the West. The regions' respective publishers will announce release dates and details at a later time.
The game will ship in Japan on April 19. Kadokawa Games announced the game last October.
The story of Metal Max Xeno takes place several decades after past entries in the series, and follows humans fighting for survival against a new type of mechanical monster in the ruins of what was once Tokyo.
The first Metal Max post-apocalyptic role-playing game was released in 1991, followed by Metal Max 2 in 1993. Atlus released one of the franchise installments, Metal Saga, in for North America in 2006, but Metal Max Xeno will be the first game with the Metal Max title to launch overseas.
