Comixology and Amazon's Kindle platform both released a digital version of the first volume of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen) manga on Friday.

The Amazon release describes the manga:

Guided by the Key of Dreams, Sakura embarks on a new adventure! It is spring, with cherry trees in full blossom, and Sakura is just entering middle school. Her beloved Syaoran has returned from Hong Kong, and life couldn't be better. But when she awakens from a strange dream to find her Sakura Cards powerless, how can she protect Tomoeda from disaster?! With over 15 million copies in print in Japan alone, plus translations in over a dozen languages, the original Cardcaptor Sakura is an international phenomenon you can't miss! And now, the long-awaited new chapter begins!

The Amazon page lists Kodansha Comics as the publisher, and also lists that Kodansha Comics will release the first volume in print on November 14. Kodansha Comics didn't respond to ANN's request for confirmation on the listing by press time.

Kodansha Comics is presenting the world premiere of the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen Prologue - Sakura to Futatsu no Kuma (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc Prologue: Sakura and the Two Bears) video anime at the Anime Expo convention on Saturday. The anime links the stories of the "Sakura Card Arc" and the "Clear Card Arc" of the manga.

The special edition of the third "Clear Card Arc" manga volume will ship on September 13, and it will bundle the prologue anime.

CLAMP launched the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen sequel manga series in Nakayoshi in June 2016. The manga is inspiring a television anime adaptation that will premiere on NHK in January 2018.
