A Centaur's Life Anime's 1st TV Ad Reveals July 9 Premiere

The official website for the anime adaptation of Kei Murayama's A Centaur's Life (Centaur no Nayami or Centaur's Worries) manga began streaming the series' first promotional video and television commercial on Wednesday. The commercial reveals that the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 9 at 10:00 p.m., and it will also air on BS11 and AT-X.
The anime's voice cast includes:
Seria Fukagawa as Himeno Kimihara, a centaur girl. She has a gentle personality. She is at an age where she is anxious about the size of her chest and body.
Yūki Kuwahara as Nozomi Gokuraku, a dragon girl. She is Himeno's friend with a rough personality. She lives in a karate dojo.
Haruka Shiraishi as Kyōko Naraku, a horned girl. She is Himeno's friend who is always cool and composed. She is just like her older brother.
Yuna Kamakura as Manami Mitama, a winged girl. She naturally has the disposition of a committee chairman. She looks after her four younger sisters.
Yuu Ayase as Quetzalcoatl Sassassul, an Antarctic snake girl. She is a student studying abroad from Antarctica. Her race has a logical way of thinking.
Akane Kiryū as Shino, Himeno's cousin who is in kindergarten. She loves Himeno very much.
The television anime will air from July to September with 12 episodes.
Fumitoshi Oizaki (AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue, Etotama) is the anime's general director, while Naoyuki Konno (togainu no chi - Bloody Curs) is directing the anime at Emon Animation Company. Sakae Shibuya (Guilty Crown, Etotama) is the general animation director and character designer. Yukiyo Komito (Yowamushi Pedal, Infinite Stratos) is also serving as general animation director. Touko Machida (Wake Up, Girls!, Show By Rock!!#) is in charge of series composition. Haruko Nobori (Drifters, Bleach) is credited with color setting, and MAGES. is in charge of music production.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga, and it describes the story:
Being a teenager is never easy...especially for a centaur! Himeno is a sweet, shy girl, who like many teens her age, struggles with the trials and tribulations of attending high school. The difference is she's a centaur; but she's not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends—the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns—are down-to-earth, fun- loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.
Murayama began the ongoing series in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū in 2010, and Tokuma Shoten published the manga's 14th compiled book volume in December. Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga's 11th volume in March.
