Twin Actors Manpei Takagi, Shinpei Takagi Leave Entertainment Industry

Twin actors Manpei Takagi and Shinpei Takagi announced on their respective blogs on Sunday that they are leaving the entertainment industry.
Both actors posted the same message. They have been considering this decision since last year, and they have decided to end their acting careers after age 30 in order to pursue new horizons. (They turned 31 in October.) They thanked everyone who has cheered them on until now.
The twins debuted in 2005. Manpei played Retsu Fukami (Geki Blue) in Jūken Sentai Gekiranger in 2007 and SHINPEI played Takeshi Momoshiro in The Prince of Tennis musicals. Together they played twins Kaoru and Hikaru in the live-action Ouran High School Host Club drama series and film. They also both voiced characters — Yuto and Yugo — in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime.
