Falcom to Release Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III on PS4 in Fall

Nihon Falcom announced on Tuesday that it will release its Eiyū Densetsu: Sen no Kiseki III (The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III) role-playing game in fall 2017 for the PlayStation 4. Both previous games in the series were released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It is the first in Falcom's long-running The Legend of Heroes to get a PS4 release.

Falcom announced the game as in development in December 2015.
The game is set in the same world as Falcom's other Kiseki (Trails) series games, including The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. XSEED released The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel in North America in December 2015, and NIS America released the game in Europe in January. XSEED released the The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II sequel in North America on September 6, while NIS America released it in Europe on November 11. The first game is getting a stage musical adaptation in January.
XSEED will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd, the third game in the Trails in the Sky series, on the PC in 2017.
