Short movie shows protagonist exercising, ad features Futaba Sakura character

Atlus began streaming a new "short movie" and television commercial for its upcoming Persona 5 PlayStation 4 game on Tuesday. The short movie shows the protagonist in a gym, practicing on a mu ren zhuang Wing Chun training dummy, with Morgana noticing a marked change in the protagonists movements after hearing the trainer's instructions. After noticing the protagonist is tired, he notices that he has improved in both body and spirit, gaining more maximum HP and SP, before Morgana calls it a day.

The commercial centers on Futaba Sakura, a genius hacker. Aoi Yūki voices the character.

Atlus previously streamed a video featuring the character Haru Okumura.

The latest entry in the Persona role-playing game series will ship for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on September 15 in Japan, and on February 14, 2017 in the Americas. The game's Western release will have English audio only.

Atlus will offer the American release in a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition that includes a soundtrack CD, a Morgana plush, a hardcover art book, a steelbook, and a school bag. The game will also be available in a SteelBook Edition.

The game features animation sequences from the Production I.G studio.

The Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers- television anime special aired last Saturday, September 3. The special recounts the prologue story of the young thief organization at the center of the game. Crunchyroll streamed the television special.

Hisato Murasaki will launch the Persona 5 manga on Shogakukan's Manga ONE app on September 15, and then on the Ura Sunday website on September 22.
