Indonesian publisher M&C! announced last Tuesday that it has licensed Mayu Sakai's Sugar Soldier and Uri Sugata's A Very Straight Girl & A So Twisted Boy (Tonikaku Kimi ga.) manga. The company will release the first volume of Sugar Soldier and the first and second volumes of A Very Straight Girl & A So Twisted Boy on April 27.

The Sugar Soldier manga centers around Makoto Kisaragi, a 15-year-old girl whose "special ability" is her persecution complex. She was raised well but in relative obscurity compared to her big sister, a famous model. Despite her negative personality, Makoto vowed to become popular when she entered high school, but things did not turn out quite so well for her. One day, she meets Iriya, the most popular boy in their class, and they become friends.

Sakai launched the manga in Shueisha's Ribon magazine in August 2011, and ended it last June. Shueisha published the manga's 10th and final compiled book volume last August. The manga received a three-episode short television anime adaptation in January 2014, which aired as a segment in TV Tokyo's Oha-sta (Good Morning Star) kids variety program.

A Very Straight Girl & A So Twisted Boy centers on Koito Matsuda, a straight-laced girl who treats everyone seriously. Unfortunately, the first person she meets when she enters high school is the worst kind of person she could possibly meet: Taiga Akiyama, the most uncooperative person in school. While Koito would like nothing more than to teach Taiga a lesson about his attitude, they always end up fighting. But as they get to know each other, an unexpected side of them becomes known to each other.

Sugata launched the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in 2014, and ended it in the same year. Kodansha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.
