The new Pokémon Center in Kyoto is opening on March 16 and the shop is preparing its line of exclusive goods to celebrate the event.

All customers will receive a shopping bag with either maiko (apprentice geisha) Pikachu or okuge-sama (court noble) Pikachu. The center will also have stuffed versions (2,400 yen), metal pins (630 yen), and metal charms (500 yen) of both designs, a Pokémon Center Kyoto logo pin (630 yen), playing cards (1,250 yen), and clear files (500 yen).

All other Pokémon Centers will also celebrate the opening with their own versions of the Kyoto Pikachu. A stuffed maiko Pikachu holding a parasol and variations of the metal charms, pins, and clear files will be on sale.

Customers who visit the Kyoto location from March 16 to April 24 with their Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire game can get a gold-color version of Ho-oh.

Visitors who buy five Pokémon Trading Card expansion packs will also get an original "Okuge-sama to Maiko-han Pikachu" card. Customers who spend at least 4,000 yen will also get a mokusei strap charm.

Finally, the Pokémon Center Kyoto will have stuffed Ho-oh and Lugia poncho Pikachu plushies on opening day and March 19 to April 24. Visitors will also receive an illustrated okoshiyasu card.
