Super Mario Maker User Ditches Mario, Recreates Original Megaman Instead

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Nintendo's Super Mario Maker has crossed the threshold of over one million copies since it went on sale on September 11. Franchise creators Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka even reached into the archives to show how levels used to be made. Still, with that many copies and so many fan-made levels to choose from, it was only a matter of time before someone ditched the "Mario" part of Super Mario Maker.

Creator KHace instead recast the plumber as Megaman and remade almost the entire original Megaman game using Super Mario Maker.

You can find all the level IDs in the YouTube video description and check them out for yourself. The levels aren't perfect recreations due to Super Mario Maker's block limit.
