Hestia Dōjinshi Takes Over 1 Month After DanMachi's TV Premiere

If the many unique examples of of the "That String" (#例の紐) trend set off by Hestia's character design in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) wasn't enough, you only need to head to your nearest dōjinshi event.

The Comic1 dōjinshi event took over Tokyo Big Sight on May 2 where artist groups (known as circles) sold their comics (often adult works) of both original and popular series. This year, Comic1 was all about Hestia. Huge stacks filled booths, with some dedicating a whole corner just to the magical allure of her string.

Comic1 is the just beginning. Japan's largest dōjinshi event, Comiket and presumably more Hestia, will fill Tokyo Big Sight on August 14-16.
