Developer Recreates the Totoro Bus Stop Scene for Oculus Rift

Developer Nick Pittom, who previously released a VR recreation of the boiler room from Spirited Away for the Oculus Rift, has now recreated another iconic and beloved Ghibli scene, the bus stop from My Neighbor Totoro.

The file, which can be downloaded at Road to VR, can be used in concert with the Oculus Rift to experience the bus stop firsthand, including a run-in with Totoro, a glimpse inside the Catbus, and exploration of the surroundings.

As for what's next on Pittom's plate, he's set his eyes on Cowboy Bebop, which will be his last anime-inspired scene before work on his game, Decay Theory.
