You might remember Cerevo Inc from its impressive Psycho-Pass Dominator smart toy that went on sale in 2016. The company is back again, this time with a smartphone compatible version of Kirito's Elucidator from Sword Art Online. The design marks the company's first BLADEM (connected BLAde Development and Evalution Module) design.
The smart toy sports 2,000 full color LEDs and voice activation. The internal six-axis sensor can recognizes each slice and slash and emits sound effects accordingly. It will even replicate Kirito's "Star Burst Stream" attack.
The sword is customizable through a tie-in smartphone app or it can be used as an external speaker to up the volume of the sword in crowded areas, like cosplay events.
The sword is in development and is expected to be finished some time in mid-2018.
