Voice Actor Rap Battle Project Gets 1st Live Event at Animate Girls Fest

Project coordinators laid down a date for the first "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-" project where voice actors will test out their rhyming chops as personas of original characters designed by Idea Factory and Otomate.
The Animate Girls Festival at Ikebukuro Sunshine City will host the first battle on November 4. The 12 voice actors will be divided into four groups of three. The groups are Ikebukuro Division Buster Bros (Subaru Kimura, Haruki Ishiya, Kōhei Amasaki), Yokohama Division Mad Trigger Crew (Shintarō Asanuma, Shin'ichirō Kamio, Wataru Komada), Shinjuku Division Matenrō (Shō Hayami, Ryūichi Kijima, Kent Itō), and Shibuya Division Fling Posse (Yusuke Shirai, Sōma Saitō, Yukihiro Nozuyama).
Not all the members will be present at the event. Currently all of Buster Bros, Shintarō Asanuma, Shō Hayami, and Yūsuke Shirai are scheduled to appear at the first live concert. The event will also mark the release of Buster Bros' first album on October 25. It will include three rap tracks and a drama track.
