Okayama Prefecture PR Anime 'Kibi Dango' Prepares for Disaster

The first video for the "Kibi Dango" anime created to promote Okayama Prefecture began streaming on Friday. The anime, which draws cues from the popular Momotarō folktale, takes an educational look at the area's local government and policies to help raise interaction with young people. The first episode focuses on disaster preparedness.

The story follows Momo (Yui Horie), a new transfer student at a countryside school in Okayama Prefecture. There she meets student council president Inukai (Yūki Kaji), the frivolous Saruhiko (Ayumu Murase), the cool Kandori (Yūki Kaji), and the mysterious English teacher Alex (Ayumu Murase). Momo hides a secret but her interactions with her new friends will help her grow into an adult.
