Magazine launches 3 other new series in June

This year's June issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine announced on Thursday that Wataru Karasuma (Not Lives) is preparing a new original manga for serialization. The magazine has not yet announced a title, preview image, or start date for the series.

Karasuma launched the Not Lives manga (pictured right) in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in 2011, and Kadokawa's Ascii Media Works published the tenth and final compiled book volume in January. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series and published the fifth volume in English on April 11.

The magazine also announced three additional new series that will premiere in the August issue on June 27. Writer Yū Sanui and artist Sumihito Itami will launch a manga tentatively titled Asobitagari no Kiryū-san (pictured below). The "board game manga" is about a speedrunning solo gamer and a girl who loves board games. Sayaka Kiryū is a model student, but rumors are going around that she is hanging out with adults. Her classmate Takuya Takatsuki ends up going with her one day, and finds out that what she does with adults is board games.

Izumi Kawanami will launch a new yuri manga titled Kago no Shōjo wa Koi o Suru (The Caged Girl Falls in Love). The story takes place at a boarding school for smart and graceful girls.

Kiichi Kiama will launch an "alternate world (isekai) school gag" manga titled Maō no Kawaii Yamada wa Yoiko (The Demon King's Cute Yamada is a Good Boy). The manga follows Yamada, a company employee who is around 30, and a young demon king.

The June issue of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh launched three new series and three more new series will launch in the July issue on May 27.
