Gravity Rush and Silent Hill video game series director Keiichirō Toyama was recently featured on the French program toco toco, which interviews Japan artists and creators about places that are meaningful to them.
In the video, Toyama takes viewers on a tour of places in the Shingawa and Yokohama areas. The places include Sony Interactive Entertainment where he's working on Gravity Rush 2 for PlayStation 4. The game is slated for release this December. Then he heads to a bar whereToyama drinks with his Sony colleagues and then Cinema Novecento, Japan's tiniest movie theater.
Previous episodes of toco toco followed game creator Suda51, toured a manga-ka share house, and interviewed Ghost in the Shell composer Kenji Kawai, Space Brothers creator Chūya Koyama, veteran animator Manabu Oohashi, "Tentacle Master" Toshio Maeda, and more.
