ANN Readers: Food Wars! 2 is Summer 2016's Most Anticipated Show

Japan is cooling their heels waiting for Love Live! Sunshine!! next month but Anime News Network readers are salivating for Shokugeki no Sōma: Ni no Sara. A total of 2,062 participants (47.7% male, 42.8% female, 3.1% other/neither/both) weighed in. Food Wars! barely inched ahead of the #2 choice, the anime adaptation of the time-travel romantic drama Orange followed by D.Gray-man Hallow. Where's Love Live! Sunshine!!? It didn't come in until #5, after Berserk.

The ANN women's choices also differed from Charapedia's. The supernatural comedy Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan topped their list with Orange not ranking at all. The opposite was true with ANN's list where Orange took the top spot but Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan was nowhere to be seen.
