Sengoku Basara 4 - Bontenmaru-hen Manga Ends

Manga creator Motoki Yoshihara confirmed on Twitter last Sunday that the 10th volume of Kadokawa's Sengoku Basara Magazine published the last chapter of Sengoku Basara 4 - Bontenmaru-hen (Sengoku Basara 4 - Bontenmaru Chapter) on Monday.
Yoshihara launched the manga in the fourth volume of Sengoku Basara Magazine in February 2014. The manga's story centers around the childhood of Date Masamune, as he is portrayed in CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara action game series ("Bontenmaru" was the childhood name of the real-life Date Masamune). Kadokawa will publish the manga's first and only compiled book volume on September 25.
Yoshihara is also drawing a separate Sengoku Basara 4 manga, also centered on Date Masamune. Yoshihara launched the manga in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine in December 2013. Kadokawa published the manga's first compiled book volume in June 2014.
CAPCOM released the Sengoku Basara 4 PlayStation 3 action game in Japan in January 2014, and released a high-definition version of the game that celebrates the series' 10th anniversary titled Sengoku Basara 4 - Sumeragi on July 23 for the PlayStation 4. The game is getting a stage play adaptation.
The franchise inspired three television anime series and Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings: The Movie.
