posted on by Jennifer Sherman

The Persona franchise will hold the "Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017 ~Minato no Hankō wo Mokugeki Seyo!~" (Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!! 2017: Witness the Harbor Crime) event at Yokohama Arena on August 2. The game series' music performers Lyn, Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, Shihoko Hirata, Shoji Meguro, and others will appear at the event.

Character designer Shigenori Soejima designed the event's main visual.

The advance ticket lottery period will open on Tuesday and end on May 21. LAWSON ticket advance sales will be open from May 26 to June 4. Regular ticket sales will begin on June 24. P5, P4, and P3 seats will cost 18,000 yen (about US$159), and tickets with merchandise will cost 13,000 yen (US$115). Regular tickets will cost 7,500 yen (US$66).

The Persona 5 game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 had shipped more than 1.5 million copies worldwide as of April 6. Series director Katsura Hashino and character designer Shigenori Soejima thanked fans in English on Thursday.

Atlus USA's Western release was delayed from February 14 to April 4. However, the company is now offering the Japanese voice track as a free DLC, contrary to the original plan to release the game without a dual-language option.

The game debuted with animation sequences from the studio Production I.G in Japan on September 15.

Game business marketing solutions firm Ryu's Office, which has handled marketing for the Persona series and other Atlus games, registered nine new Persona-related domain names in April.
