Two of the idols from the Idolish 7 "big media-mix project" are getting figures as part of Tamashii Nation's Figuarts Zero line. Pre-orders opened on Friday for the Riku Nanase and Sogo Ohsaka figures. Both of the characters' poses are based on original key art for the franchise.

Each figure costs 5,400 yen (US$47). Riku will ship in August followed by Sogo in September.

The Idolish 7 "big media-mix project" has already collaborated with anime studio NAZ and BONES for the group's animated music videos while also including a smartphone game, music releases, manga, and a serialized novel. Manga creator Arina Tanemura (Full Moon O Sagashite, The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross, Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura) drafted the original character designs for the project.

The members of Idolish 7 are: Toshiki Masuda as Iori Izumi, Yusuke Shirai as Yamato Nikaidou, Tsubasa Yonaga as Mitsuki Izumi, KENN as Tamaki Yotsuba, Atsushi Abe as Sogo Ohsaka, Takuya Eguchi as Nagi Rokuya, and Kenshō Ono as Riku Nanase. The members of rival Trigger idol group are Gaku Yaotome (Wataru Hatano), Ten Kujō (Sōma Saitō), and Ryūnosuke Tsunashi (Takuya Satou).

A new manga titled IDOLiSH 7 TRIGGER -before The Radiant Glory- by Arina Tanemura launched in the March issue of LaLaDX magazine on February 10. The manga follows the Trigger idol group introduced in the game and chronicled in the novel IDOLiSH 7: Ryūsei ni Inoru (Idolish 7: Prayer to the Shooting Star) by Bunta Tsushimi.

Next month, Bandai Namco will introduce the new idol duo "Re:vale" in the mobile game as part of its second chapter. The duo includes Momo (voiced by Sōichiro Hoshi) and Yuki (voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana). The characters' names are written with the kanji for "hundred" and "thousand," respectively.

The single "GOOD NIGHT AWESOME" was released on February 12. The next single is slated for May 11 and will include the song "miss you..." and a newly recorded track. Both songs are performed by MEZZO, a duo consisting of Tamaki Yotsuba (KENN) and Sogo Ohsaka (Atsushi Abe). Like the previous single, the album will include jacket art by Arina Tanemura as well as art by Kasumi Fukagawa (Persona 3 the Movie #1 Spring of Birth assistant animation director).
