Crunchyroll Adds To Love-Ru Anime, Symphogear Season 1

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it has added the To Love-Ru, Motto To Love Ru, and the To Love Ru: Darkness TV anime series to its catalog. It also added the first season of the Symphogear (Senki Zesshō Symphogear) TV anime series on Wednesday.
Crunchyroll is offering the To Love-Ru, Motto To Love Ru, and To Love Ru: Darkness series for Crunchyroll users in the United States and Canada.

The To Love-Ru TV anime series, based on Saki Hasemi and Kentarō Yabuki's To Love-Ru -Trouble- manga, premiered in Japan in April 2008. Sentai Filmworks and Section 23 released the series on DVD in North America from in 2009. The Motto To Love Ru sequel series premiered in Japan in October 2010, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD in 2012. The To Love Ru: Darkness series, adapted from the To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness spinoff manga, premiered in Japan in October 2012. Anime on Demand and The Anime Network both streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD and Blu-ray in July 2014. A currently airing second season of To Love Ru: Darkness will premiered in Japan on July 6. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series in North America.
Crunchyroll is offering the entire first season of Symphogear for all Crunchyroll users worldwide, except for Asia.

The series originally aired in Japan in 2012. FUNimation Entertainment streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The show received a second season in 2013, titled Senki Zesshō Symphogear G, and a currently airing third season, titled Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX. Crunchyroll is currently streaming Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX as it airs in Japan.
