CLAMP Puts xxxHOLiC: Rei Manga on 1-Month Hiatus

This year's 36th issue of Kodansha's Young Magazine is announcing on Monday that CLAMP is putting their xxxHOLiC: Rei manga on hiatus until the 41st issue, which will ship on September 7.
The series went on hiatus in July 2014 and returned in the magazine's combined 22nd/23rd issue on April 27. It went on another one-month hiatus in June.
The series launched in the magazine in March 2013 after an initial delay. Kodansha released the second compiled book volume with the xxxHOLiC: Rō and xxxHOLiC: Rō Adayume original anime videos last April, and the third volume shipped in Japan last August. Kodansha Comics released the second volume in North America last November, and the third volume shipped on April 28.
xxxHOLiC: Rei is the latest manga in CLAMP's dark fantasy series xxxHOLiC. CLAMP serialized the original xxxHOLiC manga in Weekly Young Magazine and Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2003 to 2011, although it was renamed xxxHOLiC: Rō in 2009. The various xxxHOLiC series have a total of 13.7 million copies in circulation.
The original manga's story follows Yuuko — a witch who grants people's wishes, but in return the person has to give up something precious — and Watanuki Kimihiro, a man who has visions. One day, Watanuki encounters Yuuko and she promises to get rid of the spirits that torment him. In return Watanuki must work in Yuuko's shop and help her grant other people's wishes.
