Japanese Poll Reveals Anime Character's Names Fans Would Use for Children

There are plenty of weird names in anime. One needs to watch a single season of Gundam to find characters like Full Frontal and Ribbons Almark. Most series though, take place in Japan and star Japanese protagonists with run-of-the-mill names like Takeshi or Sakura. Charapedia held a poll that asked 10,000 anime fans which character's name they would use for their own children. Most of the choices are fairly normal. There's no Bobobo-bo Bo-bobos to be found but some still aren't especially common.
