Enters North Uji High School with a yearning to wear their sailor suit uniform. Not fixated on any particular instrument, but ends up continuing to play the euphonium in the high school wind ensemble. Easily influenced, and tends to immediately speak out what is on her mind. The one comment she made to Reina back during the junior high contest continues to bother her very much.

Kumiko's classmate. Played tennis in junior high, so is a novice at musical instruments. Enters the wind ensemble with a fancy for trumpets, but ends up as part of the tuba section. Very active, bright, and cheerful, a natural mood-maker.

Kumiko's classmate. Used to go to a renowned school for the well-to-do for junior high, and played string bass there. With wishes of continuing to play the instrument in a fun atmosphere, she joins the wind ensemble again for high school. Has a positive outlook, but worries often about her name.

A girl from Kumiko's junior high. Affected by her father who is a professional musician, she has been playing a trumpet from a very young age. She continues to play the trumpet in high school wind ensemble. Very stoic and cool-headed.

3rd year in high school, and vice captain of the wind ensemble. Section leader for the bass sections. Like Kumiko, she plays the euphonium. Tends to toss the people around her in turmoil with unexpected words and actions. Her trademark accessory is her red-framed eyeglasses.

3rd year in high school. Captain of the wind ensemble. Section leader of the saxophones. Plays the baritone sax. A kind-hearted individual who tries to unify the wind ensemble as the captain.

3rd year high school student. Section leader of the trumpets. The adored girl of the wind ensemble who everyone loves.

1st year high school student. Childhood friend of Kumiko. Used to play the French horn in junior high, but switched to trombone in high school.

The music teacher that got newly assigned to North Uji High School. Becomes the new faculty advisor for the wind ensemble.
