Kumamon Makes His Eva Suit Debut with Yuru-Shito Mascot

Kumamoto Prefecture's bear mascot Kumamon made his "EVAMON" debut last month sporting his new Eva 01 costume at the Evangelion Exhibit at the Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art. Joining Evamon is the Evangelion Store's own Yuru-Shito mascot. You can see his first appearance in the Eva 01 suit from the February 28 exhibit opening at about the 5:50 mark in the video.

Limited edition merchandise is available for purchase at the museum. The tie-in goods include post cards, rubber keychains, pin badges, and button pins.

The exhibit will run at the museum until April 12.
