Characters, dialogue previewed for March 26 game

The official website for Bandai Namco Games' Sword Art Online: Lost Song PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game began streaming the game's first web commercial on Monday. The video features the characters Asuna, Leafa, and Yui,

Asuna: Let's go over it one more time.
Leafa: Right. Thank you!
Kirito: Dried meat?
Yui: I want to take a picture with me, papa, and mama.
Leafa: Why don't you try making one yourself, Kirito?
Kirito: Thanks, Asuna.
Yui: We should take a walk up in the sky!

Bandai Namco Games previously streamed two TV ads that previewed the new characters Seven and Rain on March 1.

Kadokawa's Dengeki PlayStation magazine confirmed in November that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's Philia (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) will appear in the game. Philia first appeared in the Hollow Area of the earlier Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment game that shipped last year.

Bandai Namco Games is localizing the game in English and Chinese for Asian markets. Bandai Namco Games' Yōsuke Futami said that Lost Song's English translation will be better than Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song's PlayStation 3 version will cost 7,120 yen (about US$66), and the PlayStation Vita version will cost 6,170 yen (US$57). A limited edition that includes box art by abec, an original soundtrack CD, a Blu-ray Disc with special content, a mini-clear poster, and a special booklet will retail at 9,980 yen (US$92). The game will ship in Japan on March 26.

Bandai Namco Games unveiled the game's development at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show stage event on September 19. Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series already inspired the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment games for the PlayStation Vita system. The light novels also inspired two television anime series.
