Fuchico Spreads Some Christmas Cheer Around the Cup

With Christmas coming up next month, people are already trying to figure out their plans. Thoughts like, "what present should I get my friends?" or "how should I decorate for my party?" are rushing through people's heads. In order to meet everybody's individual Christmas needs, and to spread a little Christmas cheer, designer Katsuki Tanaka at Kitan Group has come up with a new Christmas-themed line up for the popular "Fuchico On the Cup" capsule toy series.
This latest addition to the franchise includes seven brand new Fuchicos, that will be sure to make spirits bright for anybody that sees her sitting on top of their festive drink. The seven are "Wine Fuchico," "Tree Fuchico," "Santa Fuchiko," "Crystal Fuchico," "Christmas Fuchico," "Gift Fuchico," and of course a secret Fuchico that only those who are lucky enough to get her capsule can know. From topping off your drinks when they run dry, to delivering your presents and giving you a place to put them, these Fuchicos cover every job to make sure you have a Merry Christmas, all from atop your cup.
On top of this, the Kitan Group is also putting out a special collectable campaign for Fuchico via the mobile app LINE, called "Fuchico On the Cup Winter Compilation." To get ready for the most festive season of all, this collection of stamps for your mobile messenger shows Fuchico enjoying various winter holidays, including Christmas, New Year's, and Valentine's Day, as well as enjoying the winter season in general. The entire set consists of 40 different images for you to collect.
The "Fuchico On the Cup: Christmas Version" toys will be on sale in capsule machines and online for 300 yen a try (about US $2.58) as of November 13. The "Fuchico On the Cup Winter Compilation" for LINE is available for purchase from November 4 to November 25 through the Line Store for a mere 100 yen (about US $0.85).
