2nd Persona 3 Stage Play's Cast Shown in Costume

Mitsuru, Akihiko, Ikutsuki, Pharos, Shinjirō, Ken appear in sequel Persona 3 play in September

The official website for the upcoming stage play sequel PERSONA 3 the Weird Masquerade ~Gunjō no Meikyū~ (Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade ~The Ultramarine Labyrinth~) unveiled some of the cast in costume on Tuesday:


Asami Tano as Mitsuru Kirijō


Yuuki Fujiwara as Akihiko Sanada


Marina Tanoue as Fūka Yamagishi


Shōichi Honda as Shūji Ikutsuki


Keisuke Ueda as Fallos (Pharos)


Rei Fujita as Shinjirō Aragaki


Waku Sakaguchi and Tomonori Suzuki as Ken Amada (double-cast)

Other returning cast members include Shōta Aoi as Sakuya Shiomi (male protagonist), Kana Asumi as Kotone Shiomi (female protagonist), Maho Tomita as Yukari Takeba, and Genki Okawa as Junpei Iori. Joining the cast will be singer ZAQ as Aegis (Aigis), Takeya Nishiyama as Takaya, Hiroichi Matsumoto as Jin, and Yuri Hane as Chidori.

The stage play will run between September 16 and September 23 at Tokyo's Theater 1010. Makoto Kimura is directing the play, and Persona series composer Shoji Meguro is composing the music. Persona 4 The Animation script-writer Jun Kumagai is writing the script with Kodora Kagurazawa. The play will again have separate performances for the male protagonist (played by Shōta Aoi) and the female protagonist (Kana Asumi), and the two will not appear on stage at the same time.

The first stage play, Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade ~Ao no Kakusei~ (Persona 3: the Weird Masquerade ~The Blue Awakening~), ran between January 8 and 12. A DVD containing both the male and female performances of the play was released in Japan in May.
