Bandai Namco: No Current Plans to Release Tales of the World Reve Unitia Outside Japan

posted on by Sarah Nelkin

A representative from Bandai Namco Games told Anime News Network at the Tales of Festival 2014 event on Sunday that the company currently has no plans to release its Tales of the World: Reve Unitia Nintendo 3DS game outside of Japan.

The game will ship in Japan on October 23, and will star various Tales of characters, including Cress, Leon, Collet, Yuri, Natalia, and more. Nami Nakagawa is performing the opening theme song "Hikaru Yami" (Shining Darkness) and the ending theme song "Natsukashii Yume" (Nostalgic Dream).

Hideo Baba, the producer of the "Tales of" game series, said in April 2013 that Bandai Namco Games had no plans to release "Tales of" PlayStation Vita games in North America, including Tales of Innocence R and Tales of Hearts R. Baba later confirmed in April 2014 that Tales of Hearts R would be getting a Western release this winter.
