Saban: Vortexx to continue through September 27

The Syndicated Network Television Association is reporting that The CW Network will premiere a new block of live-action television called "One Magnificent Morning" this September. The Saturday morning block with 95% national coverage will include "10 half-hour inspirational and entertaining programs that explore family-friendly topics from healthy cooking and living to fashion to animal care."

Many stations in The CW currently air Saban's Vortexx block of animation and live-action programming on Saturday mornings. Saban gave ANN the following statement:

Vortexx will continue operating with its current schedule through Saturday, September 27, 2014. More information will be provided by The CW at a later time.

Saban Brands launched its syndicated television block Vortexx in August 2012. The block has aired Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Digimon Fusion, and B-Daman CrossFire.

Saban acquired 4Kids' Toonzai programming block rights after 4Kids' assets were split between Saban's Kidsco Media Ventures LLC and Konami's 4K Acquisition Corp in bankruptcy court in June 2012. Saban also assumed the Dragon Ball Z agreement terms with Toei Animation and Funimation Productions that includes Dragon Ball Z Kai; the Cubix agreements with Daiwon C&A Holdings, Cinepix, and East Japan Marketing & Communications; and the Sonic X agreement with TMS Entertainment.
