Ninja Hattori-kun Voice Actress Runa Akiyama Passes Away

Voice of Hattori-kun's Yumeko, Anpanman's Milk Bōya, Vifam's Pench, Oz's Jinjur
The agency 81 Produce announced on Wednesday that voice actress Runa Akiyama passed away on Saturday, March 8 due to acute heart failure. She was 61.
Akiyama played Ninja Hattori-kun's heroine Yumeko Kawai, Milk Bōya in Soreike! Anpanman, and the title character in NHK's educational program Zawazawa Mori no Ganko-chan. She also played Pench in Ginga Hyōryū Vifam, Kuniko Kaga in Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl, the title character in Shin Mitsubachi Maaya no Bōken, Tsukubō Natsuyama in The Flying House, Jinjur in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Megumi in Detective Conan, Pike in Psycho Armor Govarian, and Hiroko in Kobo-chan.
