Evangelion's Khara Makes Chō Akūkan Bōheki Cheese Napolitan Short

Chunibyo & Other Delusions's Maaya Uchida, Sumire Uesaka star as GMO Internet mascots in original DVD


GMO Internet announced Chō Akūkan Bōheki Cheese Napolitan (Super Hyperspace Bulwark Cheese Napolitan), its full 3D CG two-minute anime special featuring the company's two female mascots, on Tuesday.

The anime will feature:


Maaya Uchida (Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live's Wakana, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!'s Rikka) as Anzu Mikumo (surname literally translates to “beautiful cloud”), the official mascot character for GMO Internet's GMO Application Cloud cloud server service.

Sumire Uesaka (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!'s Sora, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!'s Dekomori) as Konoha Mikumo, the official mascot character for the company's VPS service “ConoHa byGMO.”

Studio Khara (Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo animation production, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet in-between animation), will animate the special, and the music within the anime is being composed by Tomokazu Tashiro, who is known for his composition for the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime series' “Hare Hare Yukai” ending theme, and also for his composition of the The IDOLM@STER 2 song, “The world is all one!!” Shizu, the illustrator and character designer for the Kagerō Days -in a daze- novel adaptation of the original Kagerō Days videos is illustrating the cover for the DVD.

The special will be distributed on 15,000 free DVDs (5,000 each day) at the Comic Market 85 event at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center from December 29 to 31.
