Tanishi Kawano's Firefighter Romance Manga Gets Anime

ComicFesta's newest adult romance series premieres on July 7

Tanishi Kawano's Yubisaki kara no Honki no Netsujō ~Kyara Otoko Shōbōshi wa Massugu na Me de Watashi o Idaita~ manga is getting a television anime adaptation titled Yubisaki kara no Honki no Netsujō: Osananajimi wa Shōbōshi-. The anime will premiere on television on Tokyo MX and other networks and also begin streaming on July 7.

The story begins when the apartment of 24-year-old female office worker Ryō Fujihashi catches fire. Womanizing firefighter Sōma Mizuno, Ryō's childhood friend she never thought of as a romantic partner, saves her from the blaze.

The anime will be the newest work for the ComicFesta manga website. Similar to previous ComicFesta Anime, the anime will have two casts: one for the "standard version" of the series and one for the more explicit "complete version." The "standard version" will broadcast on television, and the adult "complete version" will stream on the ComicFesta Anime website.

The cast for the "standard version" of the anime includes:

Tomohito Takatsuka as Yūki Izumi

Wataru Komada as Jun Hase

Mariko Honda as Midori Watanabe

Shiori Izawa as Ayako Shinoda

Akari Harashima as Megumi Sasahara

Toshihiro Watase (Hatsuinu The Animation, Nee, Chanto Shiyō yo!) is directing the series at Studio Hōkiboshi. Tombo (name romanization not confirmed) is writing the scripts, and Katsuyuki Sato (animation director for Pastel Memories, ISLAND) is designing the characters.

Kawano launched the original manga digitally under Screamo's Zettai Ryōiki R! label in September 2018. Suiseisha released the first compiled book volume on January 18, and the second volume will ship on July 18.
