Anime Adaptation Listed for Kono Yūsha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru Novels

Novels about strong but Cautious Hero also get a manga adaptation this week

A Book Walker ad for the fifth volume of Light Tuchihi's Kono Yūsha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru (This Hero is Invincible but "Too Cautious") novels is advertising that the novels will get an anime adaptation. The ad does not specify the format of the anime.

The story begins when the goddess Rista summons a hero to help her hard mode video game-like world. The hero, Seiya, is exceptional in every way, but he is incredibly cautious. He does things like buy three sets of armor (one to wear, a spare, and a spare for the spare) and go full power against weak slimes (just in case).

Tsuchihi launched the novel series on the Kakuyomu website in June 2016, and Kadokawa published the first volume in print with illustrations by Saori Toyota in February 2017. The fifth volume will ship on Saturday.

A manga adaptation will launch on Friday in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age. Koyuki (Log Horizon: The West Wind Brigade) will provide the art.
