Anime News Network's coverage of New York Comic-Con 2018 is sponsored by Good Smile Company's Grand Summoners.

Sunrise announced at its New York Comic Con Anime Fest panel on Thursday that it is collaborating with Bang Zoom! Entertainment to provide Gundam Build Divers with an English dub.

In addition, Sunrise announced plans to host the U.S. premiere of the first 20 minutes of the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative (Kidō Senshi Gundam NT) anime at Anime NYC, which will be held this November 16-18. The staff also noted that it is aiming to hold the U.S. premiere of the full anime as close as possible to the Japanese theatrical release on November 30.

Gundam Build Divers premiered on April 3, and Crunchyroll and Gundam.info are both streaming the series.

Gundam.info describes the story:

Gunpla Battle Nexus Online (GBN) is a New Network game that lets people enjoy a variety of missions using Gunpla in a virtual cyberspace dimension. Middle-school students Riku Mikami and Yukio Hidaka recruit their classmate Momoka Yashiro and dive together into this vast world. Becoming "Divers," or inhabitants of GBN, they meet a mysterious girl named Sarah who has an amazing sensitivity to Gunpla. They begin playing alongside her, but...

Through many encounters and experiences, Riku and his friends will build not only Gunpla, but their own adventures as well!

Gundam Build Divers is part of the Gundam Build Fighters franchise. Sunrise and Right Stuf released both of the previous series, Gundam Build Fighters and Gundam Build Fighters Try, on home video with English dubs.
