Giant Kero Crashes Cardcaptor Sakura Exhibition in Roppongi Hills

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The upcoming Cardcaptor Sakura exhibition isn't all flower petals and frilly skirts. Kero-chan is finally getting his due as a giant photo prop. The super-sized Kero can be found in the exhibition's "Flower Room" where participants can stick their own flower seals on the wall.

In the exhibition's Maze Original Art Zone, unique illustrations are on display depicting characters from the manga and anime series. There are about 200 pieces of artwork to browse while listening to a fully-recorded audio guide. The audio guide for the first half the exhibition's run will feature characters Sakura Kinomoto, Syaoran Li, and Kero-chan and the latter half's guide will feature Yue.

Visitors can also purchase original goods, partake in the "mysterious experience" event, and dine at the collaboration cafe.

This exhibition will be held from October 26 to January 3, 2019 at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. From today until December 3, a bus wrapped with beautiful Sakura artwork can be spotted in the area for visitors who want to hitch a ride to the exhibition.
