Perfume, Non, AAA, AKB48, SKE48, Pandora cancel or shorten events

The official website for the Attack on Titan television anime series announced on Sunday that the anime's 48th episode has been delayed one week, due to news coverage of Typhoon Trami. The episode "Bōkansha" (Bystanders) would have aired on Sunday at 0:35 (effectively, October 1 at 12:35 a.m.), but will instead air on October 7 at 0:35 (effectively, October 8 at 12:35 a.m.).

Attack on Titan's third season airs on the public broadcasting channel NHK General TV. The channel has preempted almost all of its regular programming on Sunday evening to provide updates on Typhoon Trami (also known as Typhoon #24).

Perfume, Non, AAA, AKB48, SKE48, Hey! Say! JUMP, and other musical acts cancelled their Sunday performances due to the typhoon. The second session of the Last Hope (Jūshinki Pandora) anime's Sunday event, Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood anime's advance screening, and the My Sister, My Writer (Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai) anime's live-streamed special were cancelled. The All-Japan Model and Hobby Show, Yoshiki Fukuyama's Sunday concert, and other events ended early to allow staff members, performers, and attendees to return home safely. Miku Itō's "Miku's Adventures 2018 〜Live is Movie〜" and Minori Suzuki's "Minorin Shūkakusai 2018" were held as scheduled.

Tokyo Disneyland closed one hour early at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and will reopen one hour late at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Universal Studios Japan closed entirely on Sunday, but tentatively plans to open with regular hours on Monday.

East Japan Railway Company, the main train operator in eastern Japan, ended service in the Tokyo area early at 8:00 p.m., but then reported that it will operate on a normal schedule by Monday morning except for some lines.

The television anime of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga premiered in April 2013, and its second season premiered in April 2017. The ongoing third season premiered in July.
