Lupin Gets Ready to Steal Hearts at Universal Studios Japan

Monkey Punch's famous thief is stealing the show at Universal Studios Japan next month. Lupin the Third will be at the park for a limited time beginning in January as part of the fifth round of Universal Studio's "Cool Japan" attractions. The park's XR ride, currently home to Neon Genesis Evangelion, will get a Lupin makeover. The entertainment restaurant will also be transformed into the kind of "hard-boiled" eatery the gang might frequent.
The new Cool Japan attractions kick off at Universal Studios Japan beginning on January 18 and run until May 26. So far, the line-up only includes Lupin the Third attractions. This year's line-up has included Detective Conan escape games and a mystery restaurant, Final Fantasy and Evangelion rollercoaster rides, a One Piece stage show, and Sailor Moon 4D theater screening.
Universal Studios Japan's Hotel Universal Port in Osaka is offering a stay in its new "Switches" room, the hotel's fourth in a series of horror-themed accommodations. The hotel's newest horror-themed room will be available from September 1 to December 20, and guests must be at least 15 years old to stay.
