Fate/Grand Order Plans Collaboration with Final Fantasy's Yoshitaka Amano

The popular Fate/Grand Order mobile game held a celebration for its third anniversary on Saturday at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The event included big announcements including a new stage play and upcoming television anime and film projects.

The event itself had artwork displays at its various booths, including one at the Aniplex booth that teased a collaboration with Final Fantasy franchise artist Yoshitaka Amano. The art panel stated that the game's servants will be "reborn" through Amano, but doesn't specify if this means merchandise, an in-game event, art prints, or something else.

The event also included an exhibition showcasing game's servants in different real-world locations. The "Servants Around the World" exhibition tapped multiple artists to draw servants in Europe, Central Asia, China, the Alps, Japan, and the U.S.

Artist TAKOLEGS (website) drew Billy the Kid with Ishtar in Japan.

Illustrator Sata (website was in charge of the China illustration.

Ikemen Revolution character designer TCB (website drew the Central Asia image starring Gilgamesh, Ozymandias, and Hōzōin.

Artist Kodama (website) drew the servants mountain-hiking in the Alps.

Light novel artist Tsubata Nozaki (website) was in charge of the America illustration.

Nozaki also provided concept designs of the characters in the image. They focused on very fashionable looks for the America artwork.

The Aniplex+ store is selling merchandise from the Fate/Grand Order anniversary event, including prints of illustrations for 6,000 yen (US$54). Items are slated to ship at the end of October.
