Bandai Spirits' Proplica brand of collector's items will release the Phantom Thief Jeanne Rosary Set to mark the 20th anniversary of Arina Tanemura's Kamikaze Kaitō Jeanne manga. Bandai is streaming a promotional video for the set that showcases its features.

The set features a full-size Rosary that recreates the title character's transformation item. A painting-style mirror, stand, and four illustration sheets complete the set. In addition to the four previously revealed illustrations, the first copies of the set will include a completely new illustration from Tanemura. By using the Rosary, fans can make the illustrations appear in the mirror. Houko Kuwashima, who voices Jeanne in the manga's anime adaptation, created new recordings for the release, and fans who buy the set can hear her say Jeanne's "Checkmate!" catchphrase.

People who purchase the set will have a chance to attend a special event where Tanemura will appear. Participation will be decided by lottery, and Bandai's Tamashii Nations website will provide more information later.

The set costs 12,960 yen (about US$119) and is slated for release in November.

Tanemura's manga ran in Shueisha's Ribon magazine from 1998 to 2000. The manga inspired a television anime series in 1999. CMX Comics released all seven volumes of the series in English, and Viz Media released the first five volumes.

In the manga's story, Maron Kusakabe can transform into the reincarnation of Joan of Arc. The angel Finn tasks her with hunting demons who are searching for God's power, which is scattered around the world. The demons are hidden in pieces of artwork, and the art disappears after Maron seals its demon. This leads people to label her as a phantom thief. Complicating matters, Maron's best friend Miyako is the daughter of the police detective who is investigating the case of Jeanne the phantom thief. Chiaki, a classmate and fellow "phantom thief," also moves in near Maron and becomes her rival in sealing demons.
