Pop Team Epic Booth Heads to Nico Nico Chōkaigi Event

Popuko and Pipimi are heading to this year's Nico Nico Chōkaigi event where the "crappy" anime stars will host a booth and sell more questionable merchandise. It's predicted that the booth will not only sell pieces of the Takeshobo building but also King Record's building too. Organizers also revealed some of the other merch available, including stickers of Pipimi as a kiwi bird.
Last year, the anime set up a booth at Winter Comiket and sold New Year's sets that included a lump of concrete. The booth claimed the piece of concrete was part of manga publisher Takeshobo's building. The series has a running gag where Popuko and Pipimi attempt to destroy the publisher, usually represented by bamboo shafts in business suits.
Nico Nico will stream all 12 episodes of Pop Team Epic on April 27, one day before the big event.
Nico Nico Chōkaigi will host a "Super Anime Area" where Pop Team Epic's booth and several others can be found. Other booths include Himōto! Umaru-chan R and Kemono Friends.
