Fate/Apocrypha tie-in event, May real escape game also revealed

The Fate/Grand Order stage event at AnimeJapan 2018 revealed more details and videos on the franchise on Sunday, including a new video for the upcoming "Cosmos in the Lostbelt" part for Fate/Grand Order, a new video for the Fate/Grand Order Arcade game, a tie-in event between Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order, and a new real escape game.

The video for "Cosmos in the Lostbelt," the "second part" for the Fate/Grand Order game, reveals the full title of the first chapter in the second part: Fate/Grand Order: Cosmos in the Lostbelt - Eikyū Tōdo Teikoku Anastasia - Jukoku no Kōjo (Anastasia, the Empire of Permafrost - The Princess of the Land of Beasts). The video teases the new Servants in the game, and previews the game's new theme song "Gyakkō" (Backlight) by Maaya Sakamoto. Sakamoto personally wrote the lyrics, and the rock band la la larks composed and arranged the music.

The video marks the new part as "Lostbelt No. 1," and the staff announced at the stage presentation that the update will launch on April 4.

The video for Fate/Grand Order Arcade shows the game's Servants in action, and previews the game's theme song "Kūhaku" (Blank Space) by Maaya Sakamoto.

The video for the Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order tie-in event previews some scenes from the recent Fate/Apocrypha anime.

The Fate/Grand Order real escape game video reveals the game's full title as Fate/Grand Order: Escape From the Baker Street, and marks the game as the first entry planned. The video also shows a new as-yet unidentified Servant. The game will run from May to August in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Fukuoka. SCRAP is developing the game.

Aniplex released the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Japan in summer 2015. The game received an English release in the United States and Canada last June.

A 74-minute television anime based on the game titled Fate/Grand Order: First Order aired in Japan in December 2016. Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the special the same day. Aniplex of America released the special on Blu-ray Disc in North America last October with Japanese and English audio.

The Fate Project Ōmisoka TV Special (Fate Project New Year's Eve TV Special) aired two new anime shorts for the franchise in January.

The franchise also inspired a stage play that ran last July at the Zepp Blue Theater in Roppongi, Tokyo. Additionally, two manga adaptations, Fate/Grand Order -mortalis:stella- and Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta-, launched in July and August, respectively.

The Fate/Grand Order VR feat. Mash Kyrielight PlayStation VR game launched last December. The Fate/Grand Order Arcade game will launch in July.
