Pop Team Epic Teams Up With Batman Ninja for Collaboration Figures

The Pop Team Epic anime and the Batman Ninja anime film are participating in a collaboration at the suggestion of the film's director Junpei Mizusaki. Kamikaze Douga is animating both works, and Mizusaki is the company's CEO/founder.
For the collaboration's Nendoroid figures, Pop Team Epic's Popuko is transforming into the Batman Ninja film's Batman, while Pipimi is cosplaying as Joker. Their outfits reflect the film's setting of feudal Japan, and the girls have Bat-Signal eyes.
The collaboration Nendoroids will be on display at Warner Brothers Japan's booth at AnimeJapan on March 24-25. However, there are currently no plans to release the figures for purchase.
Batman Ninja will open in Japan on June 15. Pop Team Epic premiered on January 6; the show is streaming both in Japanese with English subtitles and as a simuldub.
